ABOUT ILC
The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, a beacon of legal education since its establishment in 1924, embarked on a new chapter during the University's centenary year (2022-2023) with the introduction of the Integrated Law Course (ILC). This initiative marked a pivotal moment in the Faculty's distinguished history, ushering in the five-year integrated programs: B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.).
These integrated courses were conceived as a flagship program to address the evolving landscape of legal education in India, aiming to provide a high-standard yet affordable pathway to a legal career. Unlike the traditional three-year LL.B. program, the ILC allows students to pursue legal studies immediately after completing their 10+2 schooling, integrating foundational knowledge in either arts and humanities or business administration with a comprehensive legal curriculum.
We are committed to nurturing academic excellence, fostering critical thinking, and instilling a strong sense of social responsibility in our ILC students. Through a blend of rigorous academic training, practical exposure, and a keen focus on contemporary legal developments, the Integrated Law Course strives to empower its students to become insightful, ethical, and successful legal professionals who will contribute meaningfully to the legal fraternity and society at large.
